Ceramic Dicing
General Oceans has committed an investment in Echosonics in building a bespoke manufacturing and R&D unit at its facility in Cumbria UK, since June 2023, having acquired various dicing machines, grinding equipment, electroding, annealing, testing and visual inspection equipment, as well as the capability to offer a full polarization and test facility for PZT 1-3 composites and bulk ceramics plates and bars, Echosonics have built a state of the art laboratory with dicing equipment for fine pitch 1-3 component for High Resolution Sonar, Side Scan Sonar, Medical and UDT applications and unique capabilities and R&D projects for bespoke electroding and PCB connectivity for very fine detailed electrical connection suitable for the demanding environments the components and equipment will be subjected to.
